We are developing an apiary (beekeeping) program at the C4 Ranch along with the help of Dr. Osman Kaftamoglu (aka Dr. K.), from Chandler, AZ who has a PhD in Entomology and is an apiculturist who works honey bee colony management, honey bee behavior, reproductive biology, genetics and breeding. Originally from Turkey, he now resides in Arizona where he takes care of millions of bees on his property. He also lectures world-wide on beekeeping – he is quite interesting. We drove 50 colonies of bees to the C4 Ranch that will make honey and pollinate our plants. We can’t wait to share this knowledge with the families! Be prepared to receive a lot of honey!
